The Livingston Republican Parish Executive Committee, pursuant to State law, is the official governing body for the Republican Party in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. The Livingston group comprises 14 elected members, one from each council district and five at large. Its mission includes the election of Republicans to all public offices, according to RPEC Chairman, Dereck Babcock.
Livingston Parish’s main population centers include Albany, Denham Springs, French Settlement, Killian, Livingston, Port Vincent, Springfield, and Walker, comprising approximately 130,000 people.
It is the desire of the Livingston Republican Parish Executive Committee, also known as the Livingston Parish RPEC, to provide information on Republican candidates to the registered voters of Livingston Parish Parish and, where appropriate, to make recommendations or endorsements.
